From June 1st, 50 citizens will be allowed to dine-in with their families and friends in restaurants, bars and cafes in New South Wales.<\/p>\n

The NSW government today announces ease in lockdown restrictions by increasing the number of patrons from 10 to 50 inside pubs, clubs and restaurants.<\/p>\n

However, the premier of NSW, Gladys Berejiklian also said that several new regulations would be in place to avert the novel coronavirus outbreak.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are strict guidelines in place which will ensure we can do this safely,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

With the new rules, dining-in would not be the same as we used to remember.<\/h3>\n

To prevent the virus outburst, all the consumers must be seated (even if it’s a pub) as they would not be allowed to stand up in the premises and must not roam around, as per the new rules.<\/p>\n

“There is no mingling, no standing around. There are strict guidelines in place, which will ensure that we can do this safely,” Ms Berejiklian said.<\/p>\n

Besides, the dine-in place must enforce the 6 feet distance rule and pre-bookings must be limited to a maximum of 10 people.<\/p>\n

For some venues which are small spaces, are allowed to fill in their place with as many as customers allowed by the 4 square metre rule.<\/p>\n

The premier also addressed the businesses struggled to sustain and are defeated by the pandemic by stating that “we know there would not be any coming back for several businesses like a buffet, a communal football or joint cutleries on a table due to the risk of the virus outbreak, but those who are viable and managed to hang on would be equipped with relevant knowledge and guidelines to run their trade in a COVID-safe environment”.<\/p>\n

Victor Dominello, minister of Customer Service mentioned that handling the customers’ number, for the time being, is crucial.
