While the state like Victoria is still encountering the increased confirmed COVID-19 cases, both Perth and Western Australia<\/strong> are leading towards normalcy by entering into the phase-4 of easing COVID restrictions.<\/p>\n

Phase 4 Launched: What\u2019s Included in It?<\/h2>\n

As per the announcement by the premiere of Western Australia, Marc McGowan, from 27th June (this Saturday), citizens of both Perth and WA will take one step closer towards the road to recovery with the easing the further COVID-19 restrictions.<\/p>\n

Phase 4 includes:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u25cf\u00a0Removal of the existing gathering limit and 100\/300 rule from all private and public premises.<\/p>\n

\u25cf\u00a0Gathering limit will only be defined by the WA\u2019s reduced two square metre capacity rule.<\/p>\n

\u25cf\u00a0The 2sqm rule will include only workers at the venue that are attending more than 500 patrons.<\/p>\n

\u25cf\u00a0No further need to record and maintain the list of patrons visiting food businesses and licensed premises.<\/p>\n

\u25cf\u00a0All events are allowed except for the events of large scales, multi-stage music and festivals.<\/p>\n

\u25cf\u00a0Gym and other fitness centres can operate but unstaffed and with regular cleaning and sanitization.<\/p>\n

\u25cf\u00a0Once again Western Australians can enjoy a beer while standing at the pub or bar as the seated service required earlier will be removed from this Saturday.<\/p>\n

\u25cf\u00a0Unseated performances like concert halls, live music venues, bars and pubs will be allowed at the venues; wherever applicable.<\/p>\n

\u25cf\u00a0Under defined temporary restrictions, the casino gaming floor will be allowed to reopen.<\/p>\n

\u25cf\u00a0With 50% capacity, all the major sports and entertainment venues can reopen- this means Optus Stadium can hold 30,633 people for sports events (35,000 for concerts), HBF Park can hold 10,150 (16,500 for concerts), RAC Arena can hold 7,150 (8,250 for concerts).<\/p>\n

If the outcome remains encouraging, after three weeks (phase 4 duration) the government authorities will then move towards phase 5.<\/p>\n
