Western Australia Phase 3 Plan Announced: Gathering of 100 Patrons Will Be Allowed from 6th June

Finally, the day has arrived of which several West Australian’s have been waiting for so long.

Premier of Western Australia, Mr. Mark McGowan has finally announced the commencement of phase 3 in Perth and Western Australia amid COVID-19 restriction to be uplifted from June 6th midnight.

Mr. McGowan stated, “We’ve been able to commence Phase 3 earlier than initially planned, due to consistently low numbers of COVID-19 and based on health advice, as has always been the case”.

With WA entering into the third phase towards normalcy, patrons will be allowed to gather both indoors and outdoors much like we used to; which now seems like ages ago.

Under phase three, from the upcoming Saturday, food business owners will be able to welcome their customers to dine-in and beverages like alcohol can be offered without a meal.

Health Minister Mr. Cook said that it is crucial to ensure that the Patrons are seated and not roam around in the premises as it will significantly restrict the interactions outside the designated area.

In some cases, around 300 people will be allowed to gather under one roof, where there are multiple segregated spaces with 100 patrons in each. Furthermore, to the 300 rule, the gathering is allowed in galleries, museums, cinemas, conference halls, and concert venues with 100 people in one section.

Besides, the premier also confirmed the reopening of all beauty therapy, massage parlours, personal care centre and a lot more.

Here is a list covering what phase three brings in for the citizens of Western Australia.

● The 20 people gathering limit at one place will be extended up to 100 people for non-work indoor and outdoor activities.
